P&S Pipes Kft. Undertakes an extended warranty for certain air conditioners above the basic warranty from February 1, 2017.

The terms of the extended warranty are as follows:

A warranty claim is acceptable if both the issuer and the air conditioner (to which it relates) can be identified from the document (s) provided with the air conditioner. Identification means the data of the issuing company as well as the serial number (serial no.) And the type number of the air conditioner (located on the side of both the indoor and outdoor unit). Identification is also acceptable on the basis of a joint and precise determination of the type of air-conditioning system and the place of installation.

When announcing your warranty claim, you, as a consumer (end user), must basically take action against the seller who creates the consumer contract (P&S Pipes Kft.).

2 YEAR BASIC WARRANTY:

For all air conditioners placed on the market in Hungary, the statutory minimum, mandatory warranty is 1 year and the product warranty period is PTK. Pursuant to Article 169 (2), it is to be borne by the seller for two years from the date of placing on the market. The basic warranty applies to the entire product range of air conditioners imported by P&S Pipes Kft., Provided that the air conditioner has been installed by a professionally qualified installer. In the case of air conditioner (s) sold by P&S Pipes Kft. Together with installation, this condition is automatically fulfilled. If you, as a consumer (end user), have purchased the air conditioner via the Internet, you must certify that the installation company is a specialist company. As proof of this, an installation invoice or a commissioning report and / or worksheet issued by a specialist company is acceptable. In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (more than 1 year after commissioning, but within 2 years), the necessary maintenance, which is the minimum required by the installer, must be confirmed by an invoice or worksheet. The Warranty Card and its proper completion are required in all cases to enforce the rights.

3-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY: (ONLY ON THE INTERNET REGISTERED AND CONTINUOUSLY TRACKED!)

The terms of the 3-year extended warranty for the product range of Korel *, Vivax, Samsung and Toshiba air conditioners imported by P&S Pipes Kft. Are as follows:

– The air conditioner has been installed by a professionally qualified specialist.
– The operator of the air conditioner has an installation report and worksheet issued by the person performing the installation or a specialist -company.
– You can certify the minimum annual maintenance required by the installer and recorded on the warranty card with a worksheet or invoice.
– The extended warranty is only valid on the Internet and is valid if the mandatory fields of the registration interface are filled in – especially the management of regular maintenance.

Regardless of whether the installer or the end user applies to P&S Pipes Kft. for the 3-year extended warranty rights, all three documents are required. The method of extending the extended warranty is the same as extending the basic warranty.

The extended warranty is provided by P&S Pipes Kft. For side wall mono split air conditioners imported by it and sold through its network of specialist dealers / technicians, used for “Residential air conditioning” purposes. (* Exceptions to the 3-year extended warranty are korel dehumidifiers and dehumidifiers.)

The extended warranty applies to all side wall mono split air conditioners used for “Residential Air Conditioning” installed by a professionally qualified installer, certified by purchase, and certified by invoice or worksheet for the minimum annual maintenance required by the installer and stated on the warranty card. “Residential air conditioning” is an air conditioner installed in a home, typically operating during the summer, that is used for non-technological cooling (eg cooling of a server room) for office cooling or full winter heating. The warranty service is basically provided by P&S Pipes Kft. Through the “creator of the consumer contract”, the seller, ie the legal holder of the warranty.

The consumer (end user) must keep the invoice confirming the purchase throughout the extended warranty period. It is a prerequisite that the installation conditions are fixed. This is done by means of an installation report or worksheet to be completed by the installer, indicating:

• External weather data at installation
  Interior temperature
  Distance between outdoor and indoor units
  Level difference between outdoor and indoor units
  Dimensions of pipe used between outdoor and indoor units (diameters, length)
  Vacuum test values (pressure, duration, type of instrument used, serial number)
  The amount of refrigerant used in the air conditioner during installation
  Mode of power supply
  Pressure and evaporation data.

Registration on the website is the responsibility of the consumer (end user).

In the event of failure to register on the Internet and any of the invoices confirming the purchase, the installation report or the worksheet, or the worksheets certifying the maintenance, are missing, the extended warranty is automatically void!
Invoices and other documents must include the equipment type (type number, model) and serial number (serial no.)! The warranty is provided in the form of parts, actual repairs or replacements. The seller, the installation company, the maintenance company or the owner can make a claim. In all cases, P&S Pipes Kft. Provides the part to the installer of the equipment or repairs it at its own site. Defective parts will be replaced by the dealer or service provider under a “consumer contract” and “extended warranty conditions” with the owner, independent of the importer. P&S Pipes Kft. Reserves the right to inspect the warranty in order to verify the validity of the warranty.
